Welcome to Torii Edge Cloud
A decentralized, distributed edge cloud - self-hosted on a cluster of nodes

Torii is a small, open-source edge cloud designed to run across a decentralized cluster of self-hosted nodes (Raspberry Pis). Push your code with git and it goes live on its own HTTPS subdomain - a static site, a Node.js app, or a PHP app, each in its own isolated container.

✅ Phase 2 (Kubernetes) & Phase 3 (Data Replication) — Complete! The platform runs on a distributed 2-node cluster with automatic failover. Apps with shared_db: true in their .torii.yml share one SQLite database across all nodes in real-time (powered by LiteFS + Consul). All app databases are continuously backed up to object storage.
Phase 4 — High Availability (upcoming): Enabling leader election across designated control-plane nodes. If a leader goes down, another takes over automatically within seconds. Brief maintenance window required (~5 min).

⚡ git push to deploy
Static sites or Node.js apps - auto-detected, built, and served on you-app.torii-edge-cloud.duckdns.org with HTTPS.
🔒 Isolated & safe
Each app runs in its own hardened container with CPU/RAM limits, a private /data store, and SQLite - sealed off from the host and other apps.
📊 Yours to watch
Per-app subdomains, live request & CPU/RAM/storage metrics, and full control: deploy, restart, delete - all self-service.

Get started: accounts are invite-only while in development. Request a test account - message the Torii admin Hlomi on Torii Web Messenger. Already have an account? Log in, open My Apps, and read the Developer Guide.

New: Add a .torii.yml with shared_db: true to your app repo and your database will be shared across all nodes automatically. See the Developer Guide for details.
